Lunn’s Jewellers is a family-owned business that we think is worth considering for a reliable goldsmith in Belfast. For one, it’s got more than 60 years of history, so we reckon it already knows what it’s doing.
We appreciate the in-house designers here too. In our opinion, this makes custom engagement rings, wedding bands, and heirloom pieces more efficient to create.
It’s also convenient for us that this shop provides many services to repair, resize, polish, and restore jewellery. In our book, this can save you multiple trips!

Somewhere a bit far from the city centre is Tesouro Goldsmiths, an independent, artisan jewellery studio. It’s known for bespoke fine jewellery if you fancy getting something no one else can have.
We believe this store is great if you want to turn any outdated heirlooms or sentimental jewellery into something fresh and modern. We also feel pretty good about the outcomes since the team commits to personalising everything, from concept to creation.
Not only that, but we love that you can deal directly with the goldsmith, instead of a pushy sales team who might just upsell you. This way, we feel you can get clearer communication and more authentic craftsmanship.
What’s more, we commend that this shop emphasises sustainable, ethical sourcing, and supports local crafts. No need to feel guilty about your third gold jewellery this month, we say.
Still, some of the drawbacks we’ve seen include the shop not having any ready-to-purchase branded jewellery..

Gardiner Brothers is among the oldest jewellery businesses in the city, so we bet it already has several trusted goldsmiths and gemologists. It’s been around since 1937 too!
Plus, it showcases a wide range of fine jewellery, loose diamonds and precious metals. If you’re overwhelmed, we appreciate that this store is big on good old-fashioned conversations. It has done plenty of bespoke work on its online gallery.
In addition, we appreciate that it has comprehensive tools and equipment, including adequate jewellery and goldsmithing tools, settings, and findings. In our opinion, this ensures work gets done quicker on the spot.
Other services also include remodelling and restoration, resizing and repairs, and valuation. Moreover, you could sell jewellery or scrap gold or metal here. Of course, the final fees would be based on weight and daily prices.
Do note that walk-ins may be limited, so we feel you might get a better experience with prior bookings.

You can get various engagement rings, like halo, solitaire, and three-stone, as well as diamonds, eternity rings, necklaces, and bracelets. We think the men could enjoy exploring their cufflink options too.
